Default My baby just came back!!!

Just got my Browning Gold back from the camo dip place! It came out so good and for $165, I could not be more pleased!

This thing looked like crap, but now looks like it came off the shelf.

I know you would!

Big Jim's Camo in GA did it. He doesn't use Realtree or Mossy Oak, so thus no royalties, thus saves the $ for the consumer. Very pleased!

Not sure what you are expecting, but that is nothing for a good job, which turned an old beat up synthetic gun into something that looks this good. Besides, local gunshops want 250 smackers to take the gun apart and ship it to get dipped.

I just wasn't expecting it to cost that much to get that done. I woulda thought that $165 woulda been on the high end. Don't get me wrong, it looks awesome but I just wasn't expecting it to be that high.

Or NOT!!!!!!! If it is operational. I know most collectors want the gun to function, and function as it was built to operate. If it does not, or has major issues (rust, damage stock/forearm), then I would seek a restoration on it, otherwise you have no money to be gained in a heap of crap!

I know what they are saying, and it is true - don't touch a classic. But most gunsmiths do not know how to "restore" an old weapon and I would have it appraised by a gun broker before doing anything!
