Default Stupid Windy out here at Big Lake....

Guys, I got home here at Heberts Marina last Sunday evening after a long time away with my work, couldn't wait to get back on the water, but my god, it's been non-FREAKIN stop WIND! There was a short 4 hour slack thursday morning and I was lucky enough to be on the water for that but that didn't last long, i have had to teach my kids how to open our home doors and vehicles, i mean the wind will literally rip the doors off the hinges.. a buddy and I attempted a trip yesterday morning, went south, lets just say it was quite the adventure, i've been out here for about 10 years now and I've never ever seen the lake look this bad for so long, bayou water looks better than Big Lake right now...sucks...

Thanks for the short report, I feel your pain. I haven't been on the water in several weeks due to being busy at work and now there is no end in sight to these high winds. I was in Baton Rouge yesterday and it was the same story and it's almost like a tropical storm here in Houston today. Let's hope things turn around quickly in May.
