Default 6/14 Big Lake topwater

Had a decent topwater trip yesterday early. A buddy and I caught these 15 and released a 5 lber and another big red. Spooks and Top Dogs were what they wanted. Of course I lost several nice ones and we had plenty of missed blowups. All in all great morning on the Lake.

I forgot to tell y'all that the frickin 5 lber jumped completely out of the air trying to kill the Tog Dog. One of the cooler things I have seen out there.

I had a 6.26lber do the exact same thing years ago. Soon as my plug hit the water too. That fish earned me an 18th place finish in the trout shootout.

This one missed it completely the first time after coming out the water like a Tuna then my buddy pumped it 3 more times and she smoked it with that smacking sound big trout make. It was awesome! It was nice watching her swim away after we released her as well.
