Default Navionics Platinum
Any body have any experience with the NAVIONICS PLATINUM SOUTH cards...Are they worth it...Any experience suggestions would be appreciated...thanks in advance..Fishing Big Lake, Prien, Sabine, etc...around the lake area of calcasieu...chris.

Is it the first one into that newer subd..on the west side..against N. Perk..with the brick fence..with balc....also does anyone around here sell that platinum card.

I think thats the Dogets that live next door...I did find out who sold em, Im gonna come check yours out which one do you have I see they have platinum plus and platinum charts....dunno..lol.

I think we got you beat there!

We've had 5 cars in our ditch since we built this house. All have been single car/truck accidents. But in their defense, there is only a 4" shoulder then down 4 feet. If you get off at all, you're in trouble.

They used to live next door and I'll have to look at the card to see which one it is.

hey paul,... a buddy of mine has the platnium card in his 898si and there are huge chunks of toledo bend missing.. like almost the whole mouth of six mile is blacked out... just a grey square over the area. have you experienced anything like that at all?

other than that, they're great!

I have big parts of the Bend missing also. Mine is pretty much useless on Big Lake. But, I think mine is a 2009 issue. I was told the 2010 or 11 would have Big Lake on it.

I do love the chip. My Lake Insight on my Lowrance shows the road beds on Toledo where the Navionice does not.

TOLEDO BEND does have issues but if you look at the outline of the South Region chip you can see that it is not really good for the lake at all. Doesn't make since but that's the way it shows on their website. Now on Big Lake the chip is great. I got my chip late last summer. I'll have to look and see what year/version it is.
