Default Lures Used on Big Lake

Hope I put this in the right place. Does anyone use the Bomber Long A or Deep Long A on Big Lake? I have been using the Deep Long A lately and have had very good luck with them. I also have been catching fish deep on Brown Lures.

I have a buddy that lives outside of Houston, TX and he sends them to me. He also sends me a bunch of Corky lures. Those Corky lures catch big trout.

Sounds to me like you need to stick to what you do best. If they were as thick as you say, you should have been able to foul hook a bunch of 'em. I've caught tons of trout in Breton Sound on Bombers. If you can catch 'em in 10' of water....Big Lake should be a piece of cake. Your "podnuh" won't beat me like that.

Sand eels are OK, but I catch more fish on Brown Lures, Long A's, topwaters, and Corky lures on Big Lake. These lures catch bigger fish for me. It seems like the smaller fish like the sand eels, guess it's because the sand eels are so short.

Brown lures work good. I got a free sample of them one time. I got like 8 different colors and only 2 of them worked good. The rest didn't look good to me, or the fishes.

The ones I have had better luck with are Plumtreuse and Texas Gold Rush colors.
I had terrible luck with the bronze colored lures.
