Got some nice Creosote on my fiberglass boat, any suggestions on getting it off?? Tried scrubbing with deck cleaner(starbrite), worked somewhat, but still have some I need to get off.........thx

if its pretty fresh you can get bug and tar remover at Walmart and they have one by Turtle Wax that wont remover wax

Yep, it is an oil base, so WD 40 will dilute it and get it off with less stress to your shiny finish!

WD-40 will do it, as will diesel.

Use some starting fluid with ether. Doesn't leave a mess like WD-40 and will remove any petroleum based product.

Sell it and get a new clean one ....or try one of the other methods the other guys mentioned.....lol

I would use diesel to clean it.
