Made a trip to White Lake Saturday. Had a buddy in from Alaska and ecided to go there. Shellman's report made my mind up. I had never been to White Lake before. Got there about 10 am and fished till 7 pm. Caught 7 reds and 20 gaspagoo's. (I know I spelled that wrong). Fished on the south end on the rocks. Tried the cork and sparkle beetle tip with shrimp but nothing. Must be doing something wrong. Caught about half on a gold bladed spinner bait with a glow/green tail salt water assasin. Also, caught about half on Bandit Crankbaits white in color. That crankbait stuff I will definitely try some more of. On 2 reds I had hit the bottom and stopped it and it was floating up and they about pulled the rod out of my hand. Both reds swallowed it. Caught one about 20 lbs. It was the only one that came under a cork- Gulp Shrimp. I am attaching some pictures. Hope they go through. Had a blessed day with my best friend in High School that I get to see about every 3 years. Thank you Jesus!

Shellman, The water was plenty good to catch fish but certainly better in some areas than others. The further west i went the better it got and then it got kinda muddy. We definitly caught more fish in the better water. It was blast and the goo were fun as well although we threw all those back.

Montauk, I have a baby one minus in my box. I never thought to throw it but i could see where that would do the trick in the shallow water. I bet when a big one comes get it the wake is amazing!

The baby one minus is good....the bone color works the best. I guess they think it is a small crab....

The big red fight lasted about 5 minutes. Caught him on my lightest topwater rod with 14 lb. Cajun line. He made 3 - 50 yard runs! It was a blast! We have it on video which is very cool. I was fishing right on the rocks to about 10 feet out. All of our bites came within that distance from the rocks. I did catch one small cat on the gulp- 1 1/2lbs.
