Default FWC
Hit FWC with my buddy Brent this morning. It was rough going out there this morning but well worth the trip. We ended up with 37 SPCS since we ran out of the live stuff @ 10am. That was all the specs wanted this morning, we could not get them to hit on plastics. Glad we got some with the ole cast net before we hit the Gulf.

Once you leave the POS landing at freshwater city about 30-50 yards out along the bank.....bait fish are always there.

Cheers Nice haul...
How has the current been? Made a trip about 3 weeks ago and even with tandem 5/8oz jigheads, could not get to bottom....Very frustrating...It was the same a couple months back when snapper fishing out of FWC...I don't ever remember the current being this bad....But hey, at least they are biting!

my buddy has a 24' sea pro....the whole way there we did about 15 mph average. By the time we left at 9:30 to 10am it had got pretty calm........

If you were with them I was in the black Triton. We were waiting till the seas died down enough to head south for some Mangroves. We ended up with 29 trout at that rig. Went south and got into the Mangroves. Caught 15 and 2 ling.
