8/27/2011 Beach trip!
Waited all week to hit the beach Saturday and what a disappointment. Took my dad down there with me and we ZEROED!!!!! Weather man was wrong! WSW 10-15 and nasty water! Tried everything from topwater to live with nothing. Saw one guy catch a pickle and that was it. didn't feel so bad cause the beach was packed. Everyone was just about gone by 8:30. Still a good time with the old man. Wish I woulda been there friday!

Beaches and rocks were packed on Fri. also.
Every guide boat from Biglake was on them rocks Fri. But everyone was courteous, surf fishermen and boat fishermen didn't get in each others way. Not that I saw. There were plenty of fish, plenty of space to fish.

There weren't any problems. Only saw 1 boat out there Saturday morning. Guides are smarter than me! LOL
