Big Lake 8-31

Me and Rockfish decided to make a trip yesterday afternoon out of Hebert's Landing before the rain hits. Went to Turners Bay and threw some topwater. Caught a nice 2 lber and had a good blowup along with 2 other swipes but no connections except that one. Went down the ship channel all the way to the jetties and threw some live mullet on the west side rocks and caught a nice redfish but that was it. We came back and hit the channel and then the southeast corner of the lake but nothing else. Great time fishing but would have enjoyed a few more bites for sure. Picture of a perfect sunset and also Rockfish with the 4.69# trout he caught last trip.
