x2 on the choot em. Birds or plane that is your call. Really I'd get the tail #s off the plane and find out where it is landing and have a chat with someone if it is bothering you / messing up your hunting or whatever. Just remember if they aren't doing anything illegal, you could be starting your own worst nightmare. Bastard could make it a point to buzz your house everyday.

i fly offshore out of kinder during the week in a white, yellow, and blue ec135 helicopter, we usually fly around 1000ft and kick up flocks of ducks and geese during hunting season, not on purpose just going to work, seems like no matter what altitude we at the large flocks of geese always jump when they hear us coming. we pass over the thornwell area all the time usually around 8 in the morning and 3 in the evening. i'll tell our pilot to put it in stealth mode when we get close.

Used to be a crop duster in the Klondike area that would Harrasse birds during hunting season. Doubt you can "Herd Birds" but you can harrasse them to the point they will leave an area which is a Federal Crime. Contact the FAA with tail numbers and explain what you have observed. Pilot will get his ticket punched and you will not have to worry about it any longer.

You can herd birds, look at some vids of the extremes that have to be done to get whooping cranes to migrate. They think the plane is one of them and they follow!

I'll correct myself we don't herd deer, most if our pilots are avid deer hunters and sometimes like to get a better look

My paw paw was hunting a long time ago and a helicopter made 3 passes, getting lower each time right over him. 3rd pass, helo was pelted with #2 steel shot. I think this was in the mid 80s.
