and would like to send it to a SC member if feasible. I'm in Ville Platte and need most likely a fuel pump (maybe carbs) job done on a '96 Johnson Fast Strike 150. Anyone own/manage an outboard repair place that can handle this job? If not lets hear some recommendations of where to send it. Thanks in advance.

Cutty, I am no mechanic and don't have much trouble pulling them off and putting them back on so even a cave man can do it. Hardest part is waiting for them to soak long enough to get clean. Take a pic of them on for a reference and put tye wraps to make sure you put them back on in order since there are three. Soak time should be atleast 4 hours in Chem Dip (O'rielly $25.00), washem off blowem out and bolt back on. Should be able to save yer self a couple hundred $$ by doing it yersef.
