Default Turnaround

so today made 15 days in a row working a shutdown at my plant. I believe we have about 15 or so more days before the end. Ive been working my butt off while being harrased by contract safety nazis. cant wait till this is over! i need some time with a flyrod in my hand!

Longest I ever made was 56 nights straight at Dow Taft. When they found out, they made me take two nights off to regroup. Lol! I gladly accepted!

I am at motiva Norco(nights). I did this same turn around about three years ago and the pace was alot faster

Believe it or not that will probably piss some people off. Some people like to make as much money as they can when they are given the oppurtunity. I say its a good idea. When your body is physically worn out you are vulnerable to accidents. Good luck with the rest of your TA.

Ok so i busted my *** for 3 days clearing the unit for entry. Ive been firewatching for 12 days, you know how hard it is to do nothing for 12 hours a day! Id rather be pulling wrenches!

I always found it odd that Total had their operators firewatch. When we fixed the reactors out there a while back the same poor dude was out there every morning to firewatch for us.

Yep, we firewatch in a hydrocarbon unit. Contractors can firewatch offsites. Its a good gig ti come in to firewatch on OT for a day during regular operations. Not for a 30 day shutdown!
