Default Joe's Cove: Where is It?
I have read several times where people wade or fish Joe's Cove. Where is it on BL? I think it is south but could someone give me a better idea--especially if it is a good place to wade this time of year. Thanx in advance!!

Johnny welcome, those guys are just giving you a hard time. Joe's is a shallow water lake located off the channel just south of Hackberry. You an access it on highway 27 in the town of Hackberry as there are two launches on the cove. One to the north and one in the middle. If you are coming from the channel there are two entrances, a north entrance which you will see a ton of camps (including mine) and a south entrance where most folks fish at.

On the south end of the cove, the west bank has a very big oyster reef where alot of people wade at and also to run off canals which can be good for flounder and reds.

Anytime, be careful if you go in there on low tide or when we are in a low water period. It is VERY shallow in most places.
