Lake Area Marine originated in 1985 as Moss Bluff Marine. After three successful years in Moss Bluff we moved to our current location in Lake Charles and changed the name that better befitted our operation. In 1988 Lake Area Marine was born.

Since that time we have established ourselves as the premier boat dealer in southwest Louisiana. Whether you need a fiberglass or an aluminum boat, you can find what will suit your needs in our inventory of boats. We carry bay boats by Blue Wave and Triton along with Triton bass boats. Aluminum boats by Alweld and Seaark. Outboard engines by Suzuki, Tohatsu, Nissan and Evinrude E-tec.

I went in there when the thread was going on about the 2 stroke Tohatsu having reeds. I think I was getting a part for weewackers Yama. I was telling mark about the thread and he started laughing saying they had already heard about it.
