Default Where to get trolling motor fixed?

Where's a good place in lake Charles to bring my minn. riptide to be worked on that does good work and fairly priced?

LCT is the motor guide people. Dhp is the minn Kota people in lc. I would not go to dhp. Mine has not been the same since I brought mine there. Btw there not a sponsor. Lol. I'm just calling it like I see it.

What is wrong with the motor. When I had my 70 sc ripetide I became a pro at them.

The sc 70 had defect that's why they put em on sale for dirt cheap and discontinued then had 1 on marsh boat was in shop every 3 months best thing is just get rid of it Damon at dhp said that

Im pretty sure LCT will work on a Minn Kota, I could be wrong but i think they work on all TM's . . . . . . . Dont go to DHP you will be highly dissapointed

LCT does MG warranty but will work on both. They have a great t/m repair man.

ok thanks..LCT it is if i can't figure it out.

Rodbender...I havent really taken a good look at it yet...all i know is the guy that i bought the boat from said it he bought it and installed it but never used it once.....and that i am getting power to the receptacle but its not turning on...i will take it off the boat this week and open it up and see if its something obvious...I may PM you with some questions if ya don't mind.....if I cant figure it out i'll take it to LCT...thanks.

btw..i bought this boat right before christmas and still havent had time to put it in the water for a damn test drive!! this "work stuff" sure gets in the way of my fun!!

First thing is to trace his wiring. He may have wired something backwards. Or may have the battery crossed. It should be good itf never used. My 70 had problems with the diodes. Hard to explain! But easy to fix and locate. I will message you my number if you have any questions.

If it's less than 3 yrs old go to dhp it's under warranty dhp does minn Kota warranty wk in this area and free I've had no problems w them
