I took my first shot at egg rolls, Phillipino style, and man they were good. I cooked 23 and they all gone. I want to try some shrimp ones next. I did mine with ground pork.

Lumpia Phillipino style egg rolls...... into the mixing bowl- ground pork, carrots, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, garlic....
![]() get a few tools together, ground pork mixture in the mixing bowl, a bowl of water, cutting board, a scoop, and of course Lumpia wrappers..... ![]() scoop a heaping tablespoon of the meat mixture onto the Lumpia wrapper and flatten it out..... ![]() and then we roll the wrapper about halfway ![]() fold in the two sides..... ![]() roll to the end and wet it with your fingers so the end will hold to the rest of the wrapper...... ![]() then you fry them for 6 -8 minutes at 375.....did get a pic of that but I did get a pic of the end results..... ![]() |

Made some more last night 40 of them to bring to a NYE party. They all went, I added some carrots to the mix last night.

That was gonna be my question, thanks. We have a few Asian markets here-gonna try the lumpia. thinking would be awesome with chopped crispy duck,the kind you can only get at the Asian market! thinking out loud
