Close Call Sunday
Guess this post really qualifies as a tip so I will tell on myself. Set up land marks at the ranch yesterday and all went well until I picked up Hayden from his station. I did not ride his area well enough prior to starting and dodged a dog killer hole atleast 3 feet in diameter and 3 feet deep. God must have been with me because I ran 4-5 dogs right through the area and none hit that hole. Make sure when training on new and old ground that you walk or ride the area (slow) to make sure of any hazards. I train on this property all the time but a sink hole developed with all the recent rains and I took for granted it was safe. Can you imagine calling a client to let him know you killed his dog?

Them dogs are smart.....they probably just went around the holes.
Same thing as a bird flying through a bunch of brush @ 30 mph and never hitting a limb. |
