I launched out of White Oak and ran north. The water is still milky til you move past Bayou Serpant. The water is still up but you could see on the trees where the water had fallen 6 or 7 inches. I fished a Bandit crawfish color crank bait at the Highline ditch without a bits and tried plastics and still nothing. The water is stained from the runoff from the north. Fish a few more areas and nothing. Threw the tackle box at them! Finally I ran dwn to the south end of Goos Bay. Found clear marsh water flowing in. Caught 15 fish in the spot on the crank bait and a watermelon/candy ring tail zoom worm. Only three were over 12 inches. I did manage to catch a 10 to 12lb cypress bass on the worm. That was real interesting to net by myself!!! I ended the day at noon! Hope things get better!
