Yep, sure is. Neighbor got some nice trout on the beach at the state park this morning too.

Very nice. I love fishing the beach from Fouchon (spelling) all the way to the island this time of year through July. I never spent much time on the west side beach of the island by the state park but I know people catch some hogs there by the rocks. We have had some great trips leaing out of that marina heading north west past bird island to those marked reefs on the other side.
