I currently have a 2002 19'11" fishmaster travis edition. I replaced the motor last year with a new 140 zuke 4 stroke and have a new trolling motor, new gel batteries, new onboard minn kota charger, new garmin 541s gps chartplotter/ fishfinder, etc.
I am thinking of selling it maybe in the spring and looking for a 22 or 24 nautic star. I'd like opinions on what I should be able to get for the fishmaster and what people think about the nautic stars. |

I'd imagine you could get between $12,500 to $15,000 for your boat and I know a few people that have the Nauticstar boats and they all like them. I'd also suggest looking at the Bluewave Purebay 2200 or 2400. I personally think they are nicer than the Nautistar boats and are around the same price.

Nautic Stars are nice but im with fish Blue Wave's are awesome!
Pure Bays are beautiful but man i cant tell you how much i loved my v-bay, a 22' v-bay has an ungodly amount of room in it! |

I'll have to check out the blue waves. The only thing is I really dont see a lot of them for sale...and i'm really hoping to get at least 15k for my boat or closer to 16k. The motor alone installed with controls and everything was just under 13k. But if i can get 15k I will have a pretty comfortable limit of around 30k for the next one.

Pretty great actually
The fuel economy on that thing is ridiculous I made like 5-6 trips on one tank. Whole shot is excellent it gets on top quick, it's no speed demon but it tops out in the upper 40s almost 50 wich is really more than enough. I thought that motor was undersized when I picked it up to use and I was impressed with what that Suzuki did on that boat. Really a great boat...... |

If possible, try and remember to Pm me when selling fishmaster. I'll be looking for a beginner priced bay boat come spring time.
The Travis editions are the better of the fishmasters made, right? |

well the travis edition has more bells and whistles i guess and its a lined hull not a rolled edge. they were built for travis by different manufacturers over the years and some were not built well. mine was built by dynasty which is a good thing, very solid.

from what i understand they were also built by kenner, and i think a company called sprint...and at one point they had wood cores. The one that i have though is solid fiberglass, no wood at all. But if you are looking for one just be aware of that.
