Default Trout/Snapper Run

Went down to Pecan Island with Keawe, Bumpnbottom and a few others for a few days of fishing/drinking. Started off Friday with a good trout trip boating 62 trout and a bunch of trash fish. Trout were not huge, but we had some solid fish with the biggest going 4.5 lbs. Spanish Mac were everywhere and showed no mercy on anything shiny.

Headed offshore early Saturday morning and had to dodge a few storms on the way out, but stayed dry the whole day and put the beatdown on some fish. The first stop was at a grass line where we boated several chicken dolphin and a ling that tried to eat my dolphin while I was trying to land it. I think the dolphin spent more time in the air than the water until we got the ling to take another bait. We spent the rest of the day catching 10-12lb snapper as fast as you could get your bait in the water. I would like to take the feds out to the places we fished Saturday and have them explain how in the world a two fish snapper limit is justified. We ended the day with our limit of snapper, 2 mangroves, 7 ling and 32 chicken dolphin.

We brought 6 cases of beer for 6 people drinking and had to stop to pick up more beer on the way to the way-in. You know how we do it Lank.
