Default CCA Star half way point
Well we have reached the half way point of the 2012 CCA STAR tournament. 1st place trout for the west is still sitting at 8.16 pounds. So all thinks this will be a winning fish for this year? Still plenty of time for fishing. As of now, no tagged reds have been caught (at least from registered fishers). Good luck everyone!

Largest fish weighed in alive and then released at Calcasieu Point Landing ONLY. Even if you know it is not big enough to win the trout division, you can still weigh it in as calc. calcutta and win, as long as it is alive and the weigh master witnesses it swim off.

A guy yesterday for the grand isle tarpon rodeo weighed in a 7.6 so the leader board will change on the east..

That sucKs cuz its gonna be hard to beat for that area but im relieved cuz now I know the trout I ate on accident wouldn't have held up at 1st place

As far as the present trout winning; take it from yours truly u can be beat in the last 5 hours of the last day. Led from 4th of july rodeo till the last day of the Star.Only to find that someone weighed a heavier fish than mine.
