Default VB Today
Made a short trip this morning with afriend to the honey hole where we caught Monday and found the reds stacked up again caught two man limit less than 45 minutes. Went looking for trout and found a few on live shrimp and plastic. Got ro landing at 800 and back home for 2:00 ten reds and 16 trout. The bay is looking awesome right now and salty as can be. Wish we had these conditions year round. Also fished a couple large flocks of birds but all they had under them was king sized gafftop. BTW weatherman missed the wind this morning called west 10-15 and was slick calm all morning. Will post pics after I install app for this site.

Those are some perfect grilling size reds. I went out Saturday but it was too rough for me to run to the pass so I stayed around shark island and beat the banks in the protected waters. Caught four reds with two being keepers. An 18 and a 22. Hope you are able to get on em again soon.

Yeah, I went back Saturday as well and all that wind really screwed up the water at that spot. The wind did lay down Saturday around noon and I went back and all we caught were rat reds, nothing to keep. Hopefully will be able to go back this weekend.
