Default Tow bill

Does it cost for Cameron parish to tow your boat? They towed me from the washout to Heberts. He took boat numbers down and info. Just wondering If I should expect a bill??

Hey that is a nice dude (deputy). Was nervous about launching my byself this morning because of the line of boats waiting to launch. He offered to hold my rope and pulled my boat back while I went and parked. I never even got out of the truck.

Runnin good first few hrs. Runnin anot 3500rpms and set off alarm. Killed it started it up ran good. Fish next area 10min nothin crank up roll. 5mi or so killed. Wouldn't crank. I cleaned the fuel water separation. Got it to crank ran 2or 3mi killed and never fired up again. The alarm went off three x on past trips and that's y it was In the shop. Mech called it good so mashed on it few x last night ran great. He changed water pressure sensor plugs and I water pump and lower unit oul(maintain). I really think its fuel filter between Tank n bulb or electronic fuel pump. Or pull hose from tank. When it killed it seemed like it ran outa fuel. Fuel topped off and oil wasn't the issue

I had a sort of similar problem with my outboard. It went into 'safe mode' after running it for a bit. The shop overhauled the carburetors which did not solve the problem. The shop next changed out the water pump which did not solve the problem. The shop next changed out the thermostat which did not solve the problem. The shop next cleaned out the ports for cooling the engine and the problem was solved.

Regardless, my outboard needed the carburetors cleaned, a new thermostat and a new impeller. It should be good to go for a while. I'll certainly remember to run the gas from the carburetor if I'm not going to use my outboard for any length of time and use ethanol free gasoline.
