Default Crabs crabs and more crabs

Went friday to joseph harbor. Caught 6 dozen in about 3 hours . Left there went to sabine wildlife refuge on the way to hackberry . We caught 6 dozen more in about an hour and a half.THIS WAS MY SHARE OF THE 12 DOZEN.

The one before price lake road. I think the call it lsu. You turn left by the pennzoil dock and go to the back by the locks. We caught the crabs to the left of the locks . Down the barsh by the baulk head. Melt at joseph harbor. Chicken legs at sabine. I would go straight to sabine if i was you.

"INTERNET POLICE".......Warning!!!!!

The crab limit at Rockefeller is 12 dozen......BUT.....at Sabine NR the limit is only 5 dozen per boat or vehicle.

So if you had 12 dozen in your position at Sabine NR.....you could have been in big trouble. Federal fines are fairly expensive.

Did not know that and ignorance is not a defense. I guess now i know. They had a guy there that had 14 to 15 dozen. That could have got ugly. Thanks for the info.ps i do abide by the law i sure did not know that.

be careful,crabbing or fishing is not allowed at ranger station at sabine and salty nurse do not go to hog island cut,all fishin n crabbin suks there,the other places on the refuge are good though.Most of the crabs I caught were skinny,were yours full?

Com se com sa . We did catch more males then females . Didnt have to fight through the eggs. The females were more full then the males.

Ours were full, didn't limit out but caught plenty shrimp and crabs to eat plus one red. At Lsu - other weirs produced more crabs
