Just a heads up to anyone going in the area this weekend....my podna tore up the redfish and some flounder just north of caldwell reef today. Redfish were schooled up over the reefs. Vermillion bay special fresh shrimp under a cork. If you never fished the area go slow it gets very shallow. Gunna try to go tomorrow depending on the wind.

Good to know. Had a buddy run out to Tiger Shoal yesterday and they didn't catch one trout. Said water looked decent but trout weren't there. Ran a little further to some of the Verm rigs and still nothing. Just not in there thick yet. Good to know some of the closer reefs are producing though.
