Prien 6-28 night

Did some night fishin under some lights last night at Prien. There was an ok bite early on but it got real slow shortly after. Tons of bait getting busted on in the outskirts of the lights but not much of anything inside the lights. We got onto a slow but steady bite of just at legal reds that we played catch and release on til about 3am. Not many trout at all that we could see. The ones there were very small.

Like I said we had a lot more keepers, but already had all my buddy wanted to clean for a meal.

I went and castnetted for bait yesterday evening and hit some lights otw in, nothing but rat reds and a few trout here and there...way too much bait in the water.

Were you solo? I thought I had saw you when I first got there. My buddy was already fishing when I arrived.

Yea that was me...I didn't see him when I rolled up on the lights...was heading towards the spot kinda quick after seeing em busting but once I slowed I realized there was someone fishing. Didn't think I really spooked any fish though they were slamming right next to the boat. I only hooked and lost a couple, tried throwing some live bait but only caught a couple hardheads

Yeah there was about 5 boats that came and thought they were gonna catch fish with all that bait getting busted all over. Didn't take them long to crank up and head on.
