Default Brisket Marinades

Can anyone recommend a good marinade for brisket before it goes in the smoker? Thanks.

Mustard and lawry's seasoning and a little Italian dressing overnight before cooking is what I use and comes out pretty good!

I hit mine with Sea salt, Tony's, cumin, smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic seasoning, brown sugar and a few shakes of Worchester sauce. Wrap up tight and let it sit for a few days.

The bottled marinades by Allegro are pretty good. Give them a try.

I had to do a Google search.

SPOG = Salt, Pepper, Onion, and Garlic.

Never marinated one either. Just put it on the grill and smoked it for two to three hours. Doesnt take long to absorb alot of smoke flavor. It's only gonna absorb so much anyways. Then put it in the oven covered with tin foil till I can pull it apart like pulled pork then add my seasonings
