Had a great trip water was a little stained but you could see at least 3 to 4 feet down. Ended the day at noon had to get ready for the fourth of july party at the house. Left the trout biting. Kept 50 trout 1 channel mullet. The picture with the baits i was useing i want to know what the top bait is called. I inherited it from my uncles tackle box when he passed away. Never fished with it before but figured what the heck give it a try. It worked awsome. Must have caught over 300 trout whites and specks. I i would have not dropped any at the boat we would of had our 75 by noon. We were gulf side right after the pass could see the pass from where we were.

The Top Bait is call a MirrOLure. It's probably from the early 70's. I have a few myself and the yellow with the red/orange head is a great color. Nice Catch!!!

They still make the slow sinking mirrolures. Those things used to be the shizzle back in the day. No reason they shouldn't still work great.
