Some time ago I was getting on the Crescent City Connection (don't even remember where I was going) and, because it was rainin' so friggin' hard, I went thru an unattended lane. I always wondered why I never got a notice from them....maybe it was stormin' so bad that the camera was useless? Well, I got the notice yesterday....along with a pic of the azz-end of my truck showin' my license plate. I broke the law and have no problem making amends, but, April 2009 is almost hilarious.

that is a long time, i am no cop or anything in that area, but there should be some kind of statute of limitations you might want to check into

Tell them it will be another 4 years before you can make the payment.

They struck down the toll renewal in May, so they're scrubbing the books including all outstanding.

That's what my wife said.

I'm gonna pay it because I got a parking ticket in the CBD about 5 years ago and that $20 charge ended up costing me $116 by ignorin' it and sayin' fugg 'em.

That's why i park on the street. If I get a $20 I pay it. It cost $25 to park in a lot.
