Default destin, florida

Went on vacation with wife, kid, a buddy of mine, and his family. We decided to sneak off one morning to try and get on some trout and found a pretty nice spot not far off the beaten path. After about two hours of wading we caught around 15 trout all released and one red. Most of the trout were smaller but we did manage a couple 3-4lbers.

Nice! I'll be in Panama City for Labor Day weekend on a bachelor party. I'd love to bring the yak and some fishing gear but that would prolly be a bad idea for a bachelor party...

Didn't do any beach fishing due to the weather conditions. If you come in from 293 you will see a marina as soon as you cross the bay, i think its called legends mariana. You can park in their parking lot and jump in the bay right behind the lot. There is a grass bed about 50 yrds off the bank the runs parallel to the east that we fished. All fish were caught on edge of grass line.
