Yes d.i.c.k.s isn't like cabelas or bass pro or academy. They mostly specialize in sports, and camping and hiking stuff. The hunting and fishing sections here in Virginia beach are about the size of a small gas station.

Ah gotcha. Well I've only been in lake Charles for a few months but I'm interested to see what ****s has. They have a goofy gun policy but the academy off 14 just plain sucks. Seems like they never have anything. Not too many options for decent sporting goods around here. Except maybe LCT

I've only been in one store and they had a great gun selection. Fishing selection just sucks. As well as their prices. I got a $10 off coupon in the mail which after I use it. I'll probably be paying the same price as walmart or academy.

Not that im fan of ****s over any other store, but they do match any advertised price of other local stores. I worked @ academy thru college and the store manager of ****s is from there. She said they will at least match academy prices.

I went to the local D ick's last night. I was looking for EWG 3/0 hooks. I walked out empty handed. They had some, but they were red. I just wanted the regular hooks. I guess that is too much to expect out of a sporting goods store.

Don't forget that D****s was one of the first retailers to pull all guns off their shelves after the shooting in Conneticut. I have no use for them.
