Any grand lake/locks reports?

Has anyone fished this area lately, grand lake/locks mermentau area? Its been pretty quiet there. Thinking about planning bmy nx trip out there.

went to the camp saturday and one guy picked up a hand full of shrimp and crabs an a couple reds...not a lot of action

Never had much luck by the locks. Always did better fishing the shorelines and rock piles on the south side. Have not been in almost a year though. It is a nice place to fish to get away from boats.
