Default Lures that specks are going for at vbay right now...

Hey y'all , I was wondering what type of lures wud be doing well in vbay at the cove, trash pile, blue point and hammock cux I have tried a few different lures but still haven't gotten to the right plastic lures to get the specks hit on it instead of white trouts and hard tops. Y'all don't have to tell me but just give me some ideas of which lures I can try out than buying a bunch and none would work. Trying to be money wise here. But also wud like to have some specks in the ice chest!

I like H&H cocahoes in opening night, blue moon, chicken on a chain, clear sparkle beetles and chart sparkle beetles.

I always throw the same colors there. Glow/chart, opening night, Purple/chart, or solid chartruese. H&H, Bayou chubs, or sparkle beetles.

I tend to use blue moon, natural/chart, black/chart and sparkle bettles. Those all are from H&H cocahoes. If fish doesn't bite your lures, that means no fish is there or fish isn't hungry to eat it.

I don't really think color is a big deal, just have to find the right schools. We have been catching 30-60 specs for the last 5-6 trips and everyone in my boat is always throwing different colors and we all catch an even amount. Don't get me wrong we always switch to what one person has then they stop on that and we vary baits again then we may all switch to a different color and then switch back. Just find a color/style lure you have confidence in a go catch some fish!!
