Some celebrate Good Friday with a crawfish boil while Hank Hobards and family spent the morning fishing. With little surprise we woke up to a brisk wind and a little sprinkle. Hank's better half Liz started us off with the first fish but the first stop was a bust just as it has been the last couple of trips. Fish are there today and gone tomorrow right now so keep moving until you find them. Fortunately, the second stop was an oyster reef littered with trout. We started with a consistent bite but a lot of throwbacks with a few keepers thrown into the mix. Luckily I didn't leave to find bigger fish because as the morning went on the fish got bigger. River and Sara caught as many as the parents so it turned out to be just right. We called it a day at 11:30 with a nice box of trout. Everything was caught with a Shrimp Creole Matrix Shad under a cork.
