Chicot Park fishing help???

I will be in Chicot all weekend for my GF's family gathering. I'm not big into bass fishing so I was wondering if there is enough catfish there for me to run some jug lines? Or would it be better to use some limb lines and targe bass or sac-a-lait because I saw some people doing pretty well with limb lines last year.

Any advice you can give me will be great. Thanks

check the regs... i don't know if it affects jugs but i think they have a season for like yoyo's and stuff. If you are in the season yoyo fishing is excellent there for white perch never targeted catfish though.

trout lines with chicken hearts for yellow cats, yo yo for bass and white perch,,, but check regs for yo yo's and follow them exactly
