I have a kinda a dumb question and feel like an idiot for asking but i'm kinda lazy also.
My boat is a 94 stratos 1700 CC and has an internal gas tank. I have researched online and read the owners manual front to cover and cannot find the fuel capacity anywhere! I know I can also drain the tank and then fill it back up to know how much she holds but that is a pain to try and do. does anyone know where I can find the specs exactly for this boat to know just how much fuel she will hold on her? |

It might say it on the plate where the hose goes into the tank if you can get to it. My bay boat did.

Can you measure all of it? Length, width, depth. Should be able to calculate the volume from that.

If you can easily access the fuel sending unit, remove it and mark the gas depth with a dial (2"). Add a known amount of gas (5 gallons) and remeasure the fuel level with the dial (4"). Then measure the tank depth (10"). Little math and figure it out. It may be more work than necessary, but its just a suggestion.

How about you go fishing!
carry 10 gallons of gas in can with you, burn all of your gas out and refill to get back to the ramp. That will not only tell you how much it holds but how much is uaeable. |
