So I have a 2009 f150 platinum super crew cab 4x4 5.4L V8. I am upgrading to 35's and the truck has 3.55 gears. I'm going to try it with no other upgrades but I was looking in to getting a custom tune and a guy at stang hi in Baton Rouge says it won't make a difference unless I use 93 octane gas with an intake and an exhaust. I will be doing an exhaust maybe the intake but I don't want to use 93 octane gas.
My question is is he correct by saying that a tune for 87 octane (regular gas) will not make enough difference to matter? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

How bout some new new gears, they don't care what kinda gas you run and they will defiantly give you better low end performance.
