Was on 90E on my way to N.I. the other day and noticed a new building with a huge parking lot (didn't notice what the business is) on the South side of 90 Eastbound with several pumps out front near the frontage road with a huge sign indicating that they sell non-ethanol gas. It is located just before N.I. exits and I think it is at an exit off 90. Glad to see that because prior to that, the only place I found to get true gas on the way to or back from C.P. was pretty far South of 90 on the Avery Island Rd.
I'll pay more attention next time I pass there and give more directions. |

Update: Just passed by it again. Very little signage, but appears it is Miguez Fuel Distributing, brand new place, has on road diesel as well as off road diesel and two pumps with non-ethanol gas. Price was $2.28 for regular which I think is about $0.25 more than ethanol fuel right now. It's a little difficult to get to, if you're coming from Lafayette, take the Center St. exit and go South to the Frontage Rd. and make a left and it's a short distance down the Frontage Rd. It can be seen from 90 eastbound, but by the time you see it, you've already passed the exit for it.
Just thought y'all might be interested. |
