Boat accessories.

Going to be making some good money this summer and thinking about adding some accessories to the boat so I'm looking for input from more experienced individuals on the matter. I have considered these three (in no particular order) because I feel like I miss them the most but any and all input is appreciated.

-Power Pole
-trim tabs
-electronics

Like I said, this is in no particular order just looking for input. Also, these will be going on a 20' Blue Wave V-Bay.

I agree, my 8ft comes up a little short at times. The difference in price is well worth it IMO. I would put trim tabs first on my list however.

Sticking to ur list I'd go power pole, electronics, then trim tabs. I have all 3 but that's how I would prioritize them. They r all nice, but for big lake, the PP is the most must have of the 3 in my opinion.

Thanks for the input. My list was just things that I had thought of. If there is anything else you think of I am open to any suggestions.

I don't know if this even crossed your mind, but my number one thing I am adding this summer is a hydraulic jack plate.

Had not thought about that. What are the advantages to a hydraulic jack plate?

The ability to adjust the motor up for better hole shot in shallow water, also the ability to raise and lower the motor depending on water condition...Rougher water put the motor lower to lower the bow of the boat to cut the waves. And smooth water raise the motor to improve speed and fuel economy.

That's a good question. I only have a manual jack plate at the moment and no trim tabs. I fish shallow water, so I want to have the ability to raise the motor up, so that I can get on a plane in shallow water. I think Trim tabs just raise and lower the bow to allow you to accommodate for rough or smooth water.

I've put mine down in shallow water. The boat got up pretty quick. I was actually on the west end of west cove by that canal. I was kicking up mud. I put the down gave it some gas and I was up and out.
