YES! We Have Some Bananas

As yall know we had a hard freeze winter before last, and it froze our naners to the ground. I wacked them all down and piled them in the compost pile and they started back up in the spring. We just noticed our first bloom and here is a short report on the opening of the first flower.

This has happened before. A few years ago. We keep them down to a small patch so we never get more than 2 or 3 bunches but we miss them when they freeze
