Default price to pay...part 2

Just looked and shells have gone up from last year.....when will it stop. I usually shoot 2 cases a year. A few years ago shells were 10-11 dollars a box and now they are 12-14 dollars a box.

What next...drake will go up on their hunting gear.

Fishing line is more expensive and baits are more expensive than they were 5 years ago. Hell, I think I'm gonna stop fishing too.

Ask your self ?

Can you control it ? no
So shut up and hunt
If it's to much money and you can't afford it don't hunt !

Simple !!

If you have to worry about how much it costs, you really don't need a hobby. Duck hunting has never in the history of hunting been cheap. It requires work or money or both. It's all relative...

I aint mad at all... If somebody pays 20k for a lease then thats their own fault and they probably have enough money to take their kids on a couple of guided hunts.

Why can't they hunt?

My good buddy leases out 6 blinds in rice field and they will all hunt

Let's see....
About 4 cases of shells a yr. $500
Gas to drive back and forth for the season and boat gas I guess $650
Property up keep (chemicals for spraying) 350

Yea about $1500 for hunting season is so worth it.

Throw deer season in there and.....
$250 for camper spot in Tensas
Gas back and forth $500
Food and beverage $450
And corn for my deer feeder in swla $100
Anything else I missed for deer season $200

$1500 for deer aeason. Not bad

So around $3000 for both deer and duck. That's completely worth it.
