Duck hunting

I'm working at lng cameron. Was wording if that marsh land West of lng was private or public access and what makes a marsh privately owned? And I don't see anyone hunting it

It is privately owned. In Louisiana all private land is considered posted unless you have written permission from the land owner in your possession when the deputy or game warden tries to arrest you. In Cameron Parish landowners are particularly touchy about anyone trespassing to hunt or fish on their land.

All the land west of Hwy 27 , for the most part, is now owned by Cameron LNG/SEMPRA. They bought it from several landowners. It is my understanding that they will not lease it out for hunting.
