shrimp/crabs

thinking about heading to Joseph's Harbor tomorrow to try to get some crabs n shrimp (cast net, no trawl) for the weekend. can't think of any closer place for me to go around Lafayette (that i can actually catch)... any recent reports? any decent places closer to Lafayette that i might not be thinking about?

The family went to Joseph harbor Sunday and there were no shrimp and caught about 12 crabs, talked to one group of people who had 8 dozen, but they said they were there all day.

Caught some nice crabs Friday at the Mud Hole.....nice size and few people were there guess the holiday weekend...no shrimp.
