Well my grandsons first salt water trip was put off for last month two times third time was charm.met him at boat 530 ran and got live shrimp I told him make sure enough for paw to I have no problem soaking shrimp.got to first spot tide to strong had a few and made 3 or 4 moves came back to first spot.caucht some nice ones he asked grand son do you want to go chase birds on lake with artificial he said you can use shrimp.he said I good with plastic so we hit 5 or 6 set caught 200 113/4 trout with keeper every ten.we ended up with 58 and me waltrip and another grown man said it's hot let's go.we were told by 8 year old they are still bitting lol.well I bribe him with hard heads while we clean.finsh cleaning fish had to tell him it's time to go.lol well to say the least he is bit by saltwater bug.he said on way home how come we spend so much time fishing fresh water for a few fish when we catch a lot of salt water.I told him like duck hunting not everyday is good.well hopefully hill post pics.well working in oil field last 25 years I fish with guides from Florida to Texas I rank him in top 5 to keep customers on fish and especially took time with grandson.again thanks and hope to fish with him again soon.
