Big lake favorites

I am headed down to fish big lake for the first time in 20 years. Going to be there October 17-20. All I ever remember was fishing with live shrimp. What else could a guy use. Would love to get into some top water action. Also if weather permitted would it be a good idea to fish around jetties at night and if so could one catch a shark or would that require going to the rigs

Since its been so long for u I'd get live shrimp. May or may not need but if cost ain't biggie better to have. When u see pogies or mullet cast net for them and use them. If fishing the next day or days u will likely not buy shrimp and catch ur own bait. Good luck and report catches here
