One of those moments
Sitting around in my sweats this morning reading saltycajun and waiting on the Olympics to come on when I hear my pager in the bedroom going off and a few seconds later my Blackberry goes off (get all of our fire calls on my phone). Look at the address and it is like 4721, and I live at 4716, for a barn fire. Takes a few seconds to register, then I realize the neighbor across the streets barn is on fire. Holler at the wife and she looks out the window and sure enough the smoke and fire can be seen behind his house.
No one hurt, lost all his hay and some equipment. It was definately a "OH ****" moment.

The cops are the experts on the current criminal trends. If they have determined that a “high capacity” semiautomatic pistol and a .223 semiautomatic rifle with 30-round magazines are the best firearms for them to use to protect people like me and my family, they are obviously the best things for us to use to protect ourselves and our families .
