Default Big lake 4-11-10
First off... nice to meet you tgsx750f2000

Went out and had a blast... all fish caught on gulp swimming mullet, and gulp swimps... NO DEAD SWIMPS OR SWIMP BOTES..... **** em

Dad caught a red on his new STIX rod....

Finished with 6 trouts, 1 red, 1 black drum and 2 flounder and 4 stingrays.... (never knew they would smoke a swimming mullet)

"4 stingrays"

What's up with all the rays this year? I thought I was the only one seeing them all over. I saw six rays saturday while I was fishing the east bank and two were getting it on, which means even more will be hatching in the BL.

yeah PB.... i broke the stinger off the biggest one (~30 lbs) it was about 5" long and i made a necklace out of it.... pretty sweet looking

every ray i catch, i take a pair of pliers and break off the barb, them things hurt !!!!!!!!!!!!!! the barb was wide enough to drill through it with a big enough bit to snap a swivel through it.. i'll take pics when i get home, its hanging in my room !!!
