Did anyone make out out for midnight last night and catch some big bulls?

I caught about 25/30 really nice ones... Gonna go getem again tonight..

Good haul! Going Thursday Night. Gotta work this week. Hope to get on some good ones. I was going to comment on your pink toe nails and shaved legs, but I figured it must have something to do with helping the mosquito repelent stick to your legs or something while chasing them frogs at night.

Wamted to go last night and fell asleep instead! The last week has been one busy @$&#^@% for me so, I guess when I went in to change clothes and sat down on the edge of the bed....




Well, I felt real rested at 5:30 am!

BTW, where the hell were those hogs in March?!

Well, I got out last night. Walked the swamp for a couple of hours. There's a bunch a babies out there. Only got 9 but, they were all quality size!

Not a bad walk. 18 big legs and the bodies will put on a good feed.
Nuttin like some fried frog ribs and a cold beer.

Yeap.... Usually its a tomater gravey with the front legs and backs, and friy the back legs...

I eat dat like a chicken drumstick me!!...

We went out last night and got about another 20... Could have gotten more, but didnt want to get to greedy. I had my son with me, so i was trying to teach him how not to be greedy with it..

aw it simple. cut a slit across the back about midway. grab the lower piece of skin with some catfish skinners and peel it back. comes right off. then just snip feet off and split the legs with a knife.

First thing you gotta do is spread dem back legs real wide, din you get a little toilet paper and wipe where de join up at. De usually not so bad where you gotta clean em tho.

Dispatch (kill) them, then cut a slice on the back to break the skin, insert two fingers for the back and 2 fingers from the other hand for the front and pull. the skin comes off really easy like Warren said. Snip the feet off with a pocket knife or shears. Gut em and rinse. Cut the back legs off at the hip joint. If you see the white tendons hangin out, pinch it with the knife blade and finger and pullem out. If you don't they may try to jump out of the grease. If you aint don it before, check the laws before going, there aint no reason to pay more for em than you can buy em for.

It was always funny when me and dad where cleaning frogs...we had some apartments next door to the house and we were slamming frogs heads on the stump by our driveway holding thier legs...i'm sure they loved seeing that...
